Active Healthy Kids Indonesia officially Inaugurated
Active Healthy Kids Indonesia (AHKI) was officially launched and simultaneously inaugurated for the first time by the Coordinator of the Asian Continent, Prof. Stephen H. Wong, Ph.D., concurrently at event of the International Webinar on Physically Active and Healthy Children, September 29, 2020.
Active Healthy Kids Indonesia (AHKI) is a non-profit organization that is encouraged under the auspices of the PETE for Primary School (PETEPS) study program FPOK UPI, to improve efforts of the increasing enthusiasm of Indonesian children to move more active to the level of moderate and vigorous of physical activity, to overcome the tendency of sedentary behavior that is increasingly symptomatic, especially during the Covid-19 outbreak.
The inauguration was witnessed by around 400 participants for an online webinar who also included Salome Aubert, Ph.D., as one of the AHKGA administrators, and the Continent Coordinator for the Oceania Region. AHKI is led by Agus Mahendra, and is supported by all 12 lecturers of the PGSD Penjas Study Program, FPOK UPI.
