AHKI and the PETE for Primary School Study Program held an International Webinar on Physical Activity and Healthy Children, with the theme “Improving Concerns toward Sedentary Live among Indonesian Kids.”
This webinar was held on September 29, 2020, featuring three speakers. The first speaker was Prof. Stephen H. Wong, Ph.D., who is the Asian Representative of AHKGA and Professor and Chairman of the Department of Sports Science & P.E. at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Hong Kong.
Second speaker Salomé Aubert, Ph.D., Assistance Professor at College of Health and Welfare, The University of Ottawa, CANADA. She is also an AHKGA representative for Oceania region and member of Healthy Active Living and Obesity Research Group, CHEO Research Institute, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
The third speaker was Agus Mahendra, the head of the PETE for Primary School Study Program as well as the Country Leader of AHKI.
Each speaker brought a topic related to Active Healthy Kids for the Global Matrix, and became a guideline for determining Grades for Indonesian children. The title of the speeches are as follows:
1. AHKGA and Global Matrix for Children and Youth: Asian Perspective.
2. Active Healthy Kids Global Alliance (AHKGA) Global Matrix 3.0: Findings, Evaluation, Impact, and Future Directions.
3. Facts, Challenges and Prospects of Bringing Indonesian Kids Active and Healthy
The webinar was attended by many participants, who registered over 100 participants, who took part in the webinar event either through Zoom meetings or through live streaming on the You-tube channel.
